Chroma are delighted to be partnering with a leading oil & gas company as they search for an experienced Electrical, Controls, and Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis at their offices near Chester.
The EC&I Engineer will play a key role in designing and implementing electrical, controls, and instrumentation systems for analyser houses, sample conditioning systems, and control systems. This is a hands-on role that involves collaboration with clients, suppliers, and in-house departments, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards and delivered on time.

EC&I Engineer Requirements:
- HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of E, C&I design experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Amtech ProDesign software
- Knowledge of ATEX standards and hazardous area design
- Experience with electrical testing and inspection in accordance with BS7671
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workloads effectively
- Familiarity with PLC equipment specification and control system design
